Meet Dr. James Ball
JAMES BALL, D.D.S.
Board Certified Endodontist
Dr. Ball was raised in a military family and spent his childhood on military bases in the United States and Germany. He graduated Valedictorian from Robert G. Cole High School on Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, cum laude, from Texas A&M University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS), magna cum laude, from UT Health San Antonio. After dental school Dr. Ball served in the Army as a general dentist, including a tour in Iraq as a brigade dental surgeon.
Following his military service, Dr. Ball returned to UT Health San Antonio to complete his endodontic specialty training. After several years working in a private endodontic practice in San Antonio, Dr. Ball moved to the Atlanta area to be closer to family.
Dr. Ball is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics (meaning he is board certified by the American Board of Endodontics). Board certification is a rigorous process. Approximately 20% of the endodontists in the United States achieve board certification. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, and Georgia Dental Association.
In his free time, Dr. Ball enjoys being outdoors, smoking brisket, and spending time with his wife, three young daughters, and their goldendoodle, Scout. He looks forward to treating you with care and compassion.
